Dear movie fan,

a movie may enchant you and take you out of reality for a moment. It will take you into distant worlds, past times or even the future. A movie that can do this can well be acknowledged as art.
We therefore would like movies to be show the way the artist (director) intended them to be.
Nobody would get the idea to cut a Picasso into pieces. That's why we're entirely against cutting and cencoring movies or changing their original format (4:3 instead of widescreen). If such an adjustment is known to us, we'll mention that in our critics.
